UnEarth is a "healing playground" imagined for the near future. The facility is a biophilic landscape of virtual realities, designed to provide recreational and rehabilitative support to brain and spinal cord trauma patients at UCHealth in Denver, Colorado. The space contains five interactive environment pods that mimic outdoor areas of Colorado, allowing patients and their families to explore the outdoors without leaving the confines of the hospital. Each pod is equipped with holographic projections and a programmable intelligent "terrain" system that accommodates users of varying abilities and needs.
